Deconstructed Lemon Tart at ONIMA: Tongue Tingling Tasty Tart
Why is it so special?
The recently opened Onima restaurant is bringing the quintessential party vibe of Mykonos to London, and what better location than affluent Mayfair.
Onima aims to cater to the senses, and not just the palate, as this is clearly evident from the venue. Housed inside an opulent, historic five storey townhouse, which was previously occupied by the luxury watchmaker Cartier, the venue boasts a glass-enclosed rooftop terrace, private lounge and bar area, with a sultry and lavish decor to further accentuate an ambiance of pure hedonistic pleasure.
Onima specialises in Asian and Mediterranean fusion cuisine, which is accompanied with exemplary service to offer an experience to remember.
One of the stand-out dishes for us was the Deconstructed Lemon Tart, which visually looked stunning and flavour wise tasted even better. The tart, sweet berries combined with the light acidic, sour lemon was a perfect combination to set the taste buds alight. If you are a dessert lover, you will adore this reincarnation.
I recommend checking out Onima, as it will be an experience that you will not forget.
