About The Feedery | Kitchen
The Feedery cooks food they grow in the same building. They are an urban farm, marketplace, and restaurant with a rooftop greenhouse, downstairs hydroponics farm, and an off-site farm a few blocks away. It’s as local as food can get these days and you can tell by the freshness and quality. Lots of gluten free options, vegan and vegetarian options, plus beautiful aesthetic surrounded by bright plants, fresh air, and good people.
Why is it so special?
Living in the city, having fresh farm-to-table offerings is a hip word thrown around plates with produce that may have been on a farm once, but it’s hard to tell. This dish breaks all trends, putting brightly colored heirloom tomatoes picked off the vine that same morning or maybe the day before. If you’ve had a garden fresh tomato in your life, you know the distinct flavors, crispness, brightness. Plus, add some balsamic to enhance the acidity and candies pepitas to balance it out, and you’ve got The Feedery’s delicious Heirloom Tomato plate. I ordered without the burrata cheese but any fresh cheese lovers out there will devour that too.
