If you love shopping and Latin food then this is the place you need to head next in London. Sister Jane, famed for their vintage clothing and goods, has teamed up with the Latin American food experts Cha Cha at their new HQ in Notting Hill. The European menu with a Latin twist is developed by Head Chef Anthony Garlando and their all-day brunch menu is not one to miss out on including açai bowls, cachapa corn pancakes with succulent pulled short rib and Smokin’ Brothers’ salmon with creme fraiche and capers – absolutely ideal for the weekend! The evening menu will focus on sharing plates such as tuna tiraditos, grilled octopus skewers and fresh salads to pair. There is something for everyone and even a rooftop cocktail bar and a secret garden to find!

Club Mexicana

Rating – 4.6/5
Price – ££

Club Mexicana have been a massive hit in London with their pop-ups and street food residencies across London but now have their own permanent spot at Kingly Court which is the centre of good food in Soho! For those that don’t know, Club Mexicana (as you can imagine) bring Mexican flavours to London but are completely vegan – think jackfruit tacos, corn tortilla chips with fresh salsa’s and guac + Mexican style vegan burgers. If you like Mexican spices, add this one to your list.

Chishuru, Brixton

Rating – 4.4/5
Price – ££

After winning the Brixton Kitchen competition in 2019, Nigerian-born chef Adejoké Bakare’s supperclub Chishuru is now a restaurant in Brixton Village! Adejoké is bringing West African flavours and recipes in what will be a changing seasonal menu. The menu is small in size but packed full of flavour and is definitely one to try when next in South London.

Giannino Dal 1899, Mayfair

Rating – 4.9/5
Price – ££££

Famous in Milan and I’m almost certain will become famous in London, Giannino Dal 1899 has opened its first restaurant base outside of Italy and very glad it has chosen to come here. Due to have originally opened earlier this year, they have now opened their doors where you can expect fine-dining and high-quality Italian dishes offering both a meat and vegan menu which focus on classic Italian ingredients. Definitely one to try for those who missed the chance to visit Italy this year for some authentic Italian cooking.

Arepita Sliders, Tooting

Rating – 4.9/5
Price – £

I mentioned in my July & August round-up that Sugoi JPN had come to London with their Sushi Tacos fusion food! They have now also launched another crossover, this time in Tooting bringing their Arepita Sliders. The Arepa is a naturally vegan and gluten-free pan-fried corn bun which is crisp on the outside but soft in the middle and then filled with mixture of fillings depending on your taste buds including Pulled Beef, Black Bean, Pico de Gallo (tomatoes, coriander, red onion and lemon juice) and Reina Pepiada (a combination of chicken, avocado, red onion, mayo and coriander). For those that love trying something different, this is definitely one for the list!
