The first pub to win two Michelin stars led by Tom Kerridge is opening his first restaurant in London. Based in the Corinthia Hotel by Embankment, Kerridge’s will offer British classics with a modern twist offering a full range of meats and fish selection. There will be a bar with a full cocktail list and bar snacks for those just stopping by including sausage rolls and scotch eggs.

Wahlburgers, Covent Garden
Rating – TBC
Opening – September 2018

Mark Wahlburg is coming to London, or Mark Wahlburg-ers are coming to London. The celebrity backed burger chain from the US is opening it’s first flagship site in the UK and have chosen Covent Garden as the best place for that. With recent US burger success stories such as Shake Shack and Five Guys doing well inside and outside of the capital, I’m very intrigued to try Wahlburgers once it’s opened as it’s got great reviews back in the US.

Mariage Freres, Covent Garden
Rating – TBC
Opening – 14th September 2018

There are plenty of places in town you can head to for afternoon tea at the weekend but this could be the gamechanger. Mariage Freres – Frances’s oldest tea boutique based in Paris – is coming to London based in Covent Garden. Across 5 floors there will be a shop, tea room and dining room serving a broad menu from breakfast and brunch to dinner and drinks. One to stop by on when strolling around Covent Garden at the weekend.

Kym’s, Bank
Rating – TBC
Opening – September 2018

Bloomberg Arcade is becoming the culinary go-to place right now after the roaring success of Brigadiers which opened earlier this summer. Now we move across Asia to welcome Kym’s that will offer the best of Chinese cuisine there is led by Andrew Wong who was voted Eater London Chef of the Year in 2017. A mixture of small and sharing plates including traditional Chinese dishes throughout the week will be set against their Chinese Roast offered on a Sunday for those passing by. Get your reservations in soon as expect this to get busy soon.
