Here are 5 new openings from my list of recommendations to try in London this month!

Clocks have gone back and sun is setting earlier but luckily there’s more exciting places opening across London. Here are 5 I’m excited to try from organic brunch to Persian kebabs!

Daylesford Brompton Cross, South Kensington
Rating – 5.0
Opened – 10th October

Daylesford have opened their forth farmshop and café, this time in West London by South Kensington station. Based across three floors offering organic menu fresh from their farm in the Cotswald, the menu goes from breakfast to dinner also including a new juice bar and sourdough pizza to eat in and takeaway. If you haven’t tried one of Daylesford other sites just yet, then perfect chance to try their new one in Kensington.

Issho-Ni, Shoreditch
Rating – 4.6
Opened – 10th October

I’m a big fan of Japanese food and always on the look out for new Japanese places opening in London. Issho-Ni has opened in Shoreditch on Bethnal Green Road and offers. A menu designed for sharing plates with friends (Issho-Ni means ‘together’ in Japanese) is ideal for grabbing some food one evening after work and being able to try their Japanese themed cocktail menu. If you like Japanese food as much as me, this is one to add to the list.

Hicce, Kings Cross
Rating – 4.8
Opened – November

Winner of Great British Menu 2017, Pip Lacey is opening her first restaurant in London in the Coal Drops Yard by Kings Cross. This is one I’ve been waiting for the last couple of months and offers a British menu with a Japanese and Norwegian twist cooked mainly on a wood fire. A restaurant to seat 80 with a bar area as well for those looking for snacks and a drink after work, Hicce will be a great addition to a growing food sport in North London.

Levan, Peckham
Rating – 5.0
Opened – November

Peckham is one of my favourite spot for new openings and Levan is another one I’ve added to my list. Open for both lunch and dinner, Levan take inspiration from across Europe to offer small plates for sharing with a seasonal twist. Leavn will offer a split bar and restaurant space in a converted warehouse and expect great food and great wine celebrating some of the best flavours from across Europe.

Berenjak, Soho
Rating – 4.6
Opened – November 2018

I wrote about Brigadiers earlier this year when it opened and it’s one of my favourite restaurants in London. The owners have now opened another place in London in Soho called Berenjak which offers Iranian/Persian style kebabs with a modern twist. A mix of small sharer plates and kebabs priced at around £17, this won’t break the bank and I’m sure will be a success in follow up to Brigadiers.
