5 New Openings to London in January 2020

New Year, New Me, New Restaurants. Here are five of the best to come to London in January 2020.

Boom Bap Burger, Bethnal Green

Rating – 4.5/5
Price – £

From starting at their market base in Tooting, Boom Bap Burger have gone from West to East and opened their first permanent spot in Bethnal Green. Expect tasty burgers (the Mac Daddy has everything you could want between two toasted buns), sides to go with and good music in the background to keep you company.

Baraka, Liverpool Street

Rating – 4.9/5
Price – ££

In the last few years I have really found my love for Turkish food in London with so many good options to try across the capital. You can now add Baraka by Liverpool Street to that list. Think kebabs, tagines (their lamb tagine is the one to go for) and a mixture of mezza and small plates to share. If you need anything else to tempt you in, they also do a two hour weekend bottomless brunch which is the perfect way to start a Saturday at Baraka.

Japan Centre, Piccadilly Circus

Rating 4.4/5
Price – £

Japan Centre has been your go to London shop for all your Japanese food products for years but now they’ve opened their own ramen bar packed full of those delicious flavours. London is blessed with many good ramen spots and for those who love their noodles, this is one to add to your list.

Ampeli, Fitzrovia

Rating 4.8/5
Price – £££

There are so many delicious Greek and Mediterranean restaurants in London and now we have another to add to the list in Ampeli who have set up in Fitrovia where Senor Ceviche used to be based. Expect big bold Greek flavours and delicious wines to pair with a menu perfectly set up for groups of friends to share including small and large plates of pan fried lamb sweetbreads, salt cod croquettes and grilled maceral with Jerusalem artichokes. Definitely one to try for those who also love their Eastern Med dishes!

Patri, Ealing

Rating 4.5/5
Price – ££

For those who love their Indian flavours, it’s time to take the Central line Westbound to Ealing as Patri have opened their latest restaurant here after success in Hammersmith. With influence taken from street food cooking, there is a huge mix of both meat and vegetarian dishes for all to enjoy with their signature chaat bhandar not to miss out on.
