Five of the best new openings in London from vegan to street food to rooftop seafood!
Unity Diner, Spitalfields
Rating – 4.6/5
Price – ££
The foodie go-to place by Liverpool Street has another restaurant to add to the to-do list. Unity Diner is the newest vegan diner to come to London with a fully plant based menu and cocktails to match. Renowned for their vegan burger and cheesecakes, Unity Diner also aim to do some good in the world by investing their profits towards animal right campaigns work. If you want tasty food working towards assisting charities in the world, this is a place to try.
Arabica, Kings Cross
Rating – 4.8/5
Price – ££
Following their delicious food at Borough, Arabica have opened their second restaurant at Kings Cross. Specialising in Levantine and Middle Eastern cuisine, this is ideal for small plate lovers and their bread and hummus is an absolute must. With a great cocktail menu to match, there is also a breakfast menu for those up and out early at the weekend.

Seven Dials Market, Covent Garden
Rating – 4.4/5
Price – £
It’s been a long time coming but finally KERB have opened their first full time space after taking London street food markets by storm in the last few years. There is something here for everyone from a quick bite during weekend shopping to those out on a Friday night for drinks at their downstairs bar. There’s a fresh food market inside as well but for street food lovers, there’s everything from CLAW for seafood, Yum Bun for Asian bao buns lovers and Pick and Cheese for the cheese connoisseurs.
Seabird, Southwark
Rating – 4.5/5
Price – £££
High-rise and high-end, London has another seafood restaurant and this one isn’t to miss. With rooftop views of the river atop of the Hoxton Hotel (not actually in Hoxton), expect lots of small plates ideal for sharing with friends and seafood platters ready for those who are there for a seafood session. Also, their Octopus Roll could be the new sandwich to try in London topped with padron peppers and a spiced aioli. One to go to for those who love their seafood.
Haya, Notting Hill
Rating – 4.3/5
Price – ££
Another restaurant for small plates and another absolute winner, this time from the newly opened Haya in Notting Hill. Expect strong Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours inspired by Tel Aviv offering a breakfast, brunch and all day menu to suit. A simple, yet tasty all day menu consists of meat and fish options such as spiced lamb cutlets, seared Middle Eastern spiced tuna steak and aubergine with tahini and raspberry coulis. This is my ideal type of food and have no doubt will be a popular choice in London.
