Looking for your next Sunday Feast? Aster in Victoria could be the next stop for you.
Sunday is the ultimate day for feasting where you need good food and lots of it. If you’re like me you love a Sunday roast as a great way to end the week but it can be sometime too much work so you need somewhere to go for good food and wine to match. Luckily Aster in Victoria has you sorted and have maximised on the feasting element.
Aster offer a Sunday Feast Menu – this is £35 per person and entitles you to bottomless starters including shellfish oysters, smoked salmon, a salad bar and fresh bread to go alongside. Absolutely delicious way to start and I was a huge fan of the oysters with their salsa verde, where else in London can you get quality bottomless oysters and as a starter?
However, as always it’s always about the roast. I went for the lamb roast which was served with the usual classics, roast potatoes, honey glazed carrots and parsnips, broccoli and cauliflower cheese and a delicious red wine jus. Cannot fault the roast any my biggest advice is try not to fill up on the starters (I didn’t manage to stick to that advice!).

The 'Sunday Feast' at Aster really was a British feast last weekend. A bottomless buffet style for starter with plenty of choice including fresh oysters (definitely was in double figures 🦪, shrimp cocktail & a salad bar. This was followed by a Sunday roast with all the trimmings (I went for the lamb which was 👌). Then I over indulged at the dessert bar trying their blueberry cheesecake (my fave), eton mess and lemon meringue tart. A real food feast at £35 a head 🇬🇧
What do you need after bottomless starters and a full Sunday roast dinner? Bottomless desserts of course. There’s everything you could want but their blueberry cheesecake was my favourite and definitely one to start and end with.
A good experience at Aster which is located just opposite Victoria station and their Sunday Feast menu is £35 per person with the option to add bottomless Bloody Mary’s for an extra £15 per person for those struggling the effects of the Saturday night before.
