An English country garden on King’s Road where you can relax and unwind for a lovely lunch with attentive service and delicious food.

There is a reason why popular places become popular places. The Ivy Chelsea Garden is such a place. It gives quite a first impression, and the perfect floral shot is probably the best starters I could ask for! It has recently had a brand new summery floral installation over its facade and I think it’s better than ever.

Stepping inside, the terrace and garden themselves certainly do not disappoint either. There is a wonderfully cosy yet very special ambience as you sit down. The service was very friendly and attentive with helpful staff. There is a good Anglo-European menu too with lots of delicious options. The courgette fries are great to pick on as you wait for your food!

I ordered the seabass and it was lovely. It was cooked to perfection and wasn’t too heavy – a perfect lunch for a catch up with a friend!

We finished our meal by ordering the creme brulee (and ruining any summer diet plans). It was the right amount of creaminess and tasted divine. I was also quite impressed with the portion size – easily shared between 2 people. All in all, we had a lovely lunch experience here and would certainly visit again.
