Alfresco Dining In The Sun

When the sun shines it’s shy face on the city, whatever the temperatures, Londoners will shed their layers and take to the alfresco dining spots.

London Bridge

Vinegar Yard

Just opened Vinegar Yard is the new kid on the block, but my oh my it’s causing a racket. With stunning backdrops of the hustling city and food stalls from the likes of Up In My Grill, Nanny Bills and Sugo, this is the perfect spot to enjoy some sunshine, eat some banging food and get the beers in. Plus there’s loads of seating so know fighting for benches in a cramped beer garden.

Fulham Broadway

The Prince

Yar yar, it may be West London darling, but The Prince is the cool kid on the block in that part of town. There’s music, three different bars, VERY Instagrammable neon signs (who doesn’t love neon) and wicked food vendors, including Edū, Homeslice and Party & Bun! Get your Ray-bans on and let the rosé flow!

Soho

Kingly Court

So you know Carnaby Street, you know it well, but did you know that smack bang in the heart is London’s best secret, Kingly Court. It’s an absolute humdinger of a food scene, with The Good Egg, Pizza Pilgrims, Shoryu Ramen, Wright Brothers and Whyte & Brown sharing the open air court on the ground floor, you are spoilt for choices when it comes to food. After work drinks and dins… sorted.

South London

Mercato Metropolitano

This place not only does fantastic food, but it has a great ethos. They concentrate on local producers & small-scale farms. Food is social here and they do it fantastically. There are also incredible events going on throughout the year, from wine and cheese tastings, to pasta making classes. Who doesn’t love wrapping up tortellinis in the sun?

East London

Night Tales

That’s right, Night Tales is back, and this year, the terrace is totally free! It’s the Hackney dreamscape for food lovers and drinkers alike. It’s got palm trees, it’s got millennial pinks, it’s got neon lights and more importantly, it’s got food that’s delicious af. Go fourth and enjoy the summer nights because it’s open till bloody late, and yes… there’s a dance floor.
